Early Years Educator

Full time; term time only,

38 hours per week; 8am-3.30pm.

Salary £18,323 p/a.

We are looking for an early year’s educator who is motivated, enthusiastic and looking for a rewarding challenge working in an early year setting.

We are an expanding pre-school affiliated to the Early Years Alliance, offering full and part-time care for 2–4-year-old children.

Main duties: To work as part of a team providing stimulating learning through play and planning educational activities using the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework.

Candidates must hold a relevant childcare qualification. Experience of working with children essential. The successful candidates should be committed to delivering excellent childcare. Must be sympathetic to the ethos of Streatham Baptist Church.

Volunteering

Parents/Carers are always welcome to bring their skills and participate in preschool activities e.g. cooking, gardening etc.

We also love volunteers to help with outings and “Forest School and “Natural Thinkers” activities, and organising social and fundraising events and the Friends Of Lewin Pre-school.  

The Pre-school governing body, Chair, Vice Chair Treasurer and Secretary are all volunteers elected by the Pre- school’s Parents.
