Admissions
How do I apply for my child to attend Lewin Pre-School?
We take children from the age of 2 – 4 years old. We have a long waiting list and parents need to put their children on our waiting list as soon as possible. We encourage parents to visit the pre-school. The Manager will talk to them about the setting and how we will meet the needs of their children. Parents complete an application form and when a vacancy arises they will be informed. Typically, most of our intake is in September and January each year. But if there is a vacancy we may take children at other times during the term.
Do you offer government funded hours?
We offer children who qualify up to 30 hours free entitlement per week
What are the fees?
Fees are £10 per hour for children who do not qualify for 15 hours free entitlement or who attend more than their free entitlement per week.
Parents are invoiced each half term and must pay promptly to prevent the outstanding fees from accumulating
General Information
What are the term dates?
We are open for 38 weeks a year and follow the Lambeth school’s term dates
Will my child have to wear a uniform?
Children are required to wear the Lewin Pre-school uniform (Sweat Shirt and T-shirt) purchased on enrolment and sensible trousers/leggings. Plimsolls must also be worn during the pre-school session. Wellington boots and suitable outdoor footwear must be worn for outdoor activities. Please note that there is lots of messy play.
