We have lots of activities in the run up to the Easter holidays for current children, parents and carers.

Please do bring items for our Easter Hampers, to be raffled on Thursday 29th March. Raffle tickets will be on sale all week.

Please provide your child with an Easter bonnet or hat for the Easter bonnet parade, which will also take place at 11am on Thursday 29th March.

The end of term party will take place on the same day. Please bring your children in at 9am, leave and return at 11am for the Easter parade, easter egg hunt, buffet lunch and raffle. This will be a “bring and share” cold buffet, so please do bring something for the table.

There will be no school on Friday 20th March (Good Friday).

All our welcome to the Spring Disco Fundraiser at Lewin Preschool on Friday 16th March from 430 – 630pm! Faceprinting, DJ, dancing, food, games – £2 per child. We hope to see lots of you there! 

Current children, parents, carers and staff at Lewin today enjoyed a wonderful end of term party with a feast of food, presents, cards and a visit from Santa himself who amazed us with his festive joke repertoire! It was the perfect way to end a successful term.

It has been a busy term at Lewin. The children have enjoyed some special events including the Winter Walk, The Winter Disco, Pottery Cafe afternoon, cake sales and the Christmas fair, all of which have gone towards raising funds for our preschool.

Term will start again on Monday January 8th. Until then we wish all of you a peaceful and joyful Christmas and all the very best for 2018.

Today the parents of current Lewin children enjoyed a wonderful nativity play. Every child had a starring role on the stage and it was a cast of many: Mary, Joseph, a host of heavenly angels, shepherds and their flocks and wise men. As well as acting out the play beautifully, the children sang us the songs they have been learning, including Away in a Manger and We Wish You A Merry Christmas. We also sang carols and enjoyed readings.

A child’s nativity is a special moment in every parent’s life and it was magical to see all the children on the stage in their outfits enjoying it so much. The parents would like to extend special thanks to all the team at Lewin for their hard work and coordination in making this such a memorable afternoon.

Join us at the preschool on Saturday 9th December from 11am – 2pm for our Christmas fair.

This will be a fun (and festive, naturally!) day at the preschool with lots of activities and food to ensure you get in the Christmas mood.

This event is open to all. We hope you can join!

Current Lewin preschoolers and their parents, carers and friends enjoyed a wonderful winter walk on Friday across Streatham Common. We started off at The Rookery and did a dragon treasure hunt as the sun set, then finished off with hot chocolate and marshmallows, a biscuit and a story.

It was a lovely experience for all and our thanks go to Sally and team for organising. A lovely way to raise funds for our much loved pre school.

To raise funds for the preschool, parents and carers at Lewin are organising a Winter Walk for current preschoolers on Friday 10th November. Please join us with your children, siblings and friends for this lovely walk over Streatham Common, with a treasure hunt en route, hot chocolate and cookies and a goody bag at the end!

We will be meeting at 4pm by the Rookery cafe.

Tickets are available from Andree at the nursery for £3. Thank you for your support and we look forward to seeing you all there.
